This is an in-person workshop in Minnesota. There are 30 spots available with one to two artists per table. The first three artists to register will receive my favorite watercolor palette filled with my seven favorite colors (Daniel Smith and/or American Journey paints). These have been claimed!
This workshop will include a fish paint-along. You can also bring your own personal project to work on and/or chat with me about. I'll also be walking the group through some of the “harder” watercolor techniques including water resist, color resist, and pigmented edges.
Dorland's Wax Try-Out: I'll have a big jar of Dorland's available for you to test out waxing. Bring a small finished painting to wax or wax your finished fish painting. All the supplies you'll need will be provided and instruction cards will be available.
This workshop is for all watercolor artists at any stage in their journey, but will be especially helpful for anyone who paints pets and animals. I am so excited to meet you in person and paint together!

Reference photo and tracing for the fish paint-along

Paint water and water cups (there is a sink in the room)

You will need to bring:
Your own watercolor paints, palette, brushes and blotting towel
Any other tools or supplies you like to use
Your own project to work on (optional)
