Partnership Guidelines

Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here. This page shares a few simple guidelines so we’re both on the same page before I get started painting your lovely pet. 🐾

🎨Complimentary Partner Portrait

As part of the Aquila Watercolor Partner Program, I’m happy to offer partners one complimentary custom watercolor pet portrait.

  • The portrait will feature one pet.

  • The inclusion of props, accessories, or complex backgrounds is at my discretion so I can give each piece the care and attention it deserves.

Each portrait is painted by hand with love, and my goal is always to create something you’re genuinely excited to receive.

🖌Artwork Ownership & Usage Rights

All original artwork created by Aquila Watercolor remains the intellectual property of Aquila Watercolor.

As the artist, I retain full copyright to the artwork. However, I will NOT create reproductions of the piece itself for resale.

I may use images or video of the artwork and painting process for marketing, promotional, and instructional purposes, including on my website, social media, and YouTube.

You’re always welcome to display and share your portrait on your personal platforms and with your community. I simply ask that the artwork itself not be reproduced, licensed, or resold independently without written permission.

If digital files are provided, they’re for personal use only and may not be sold or used for independent commercial purposes.

📸Reference Photos

By submitting reference photos, you give me permission to use those images for marketing or educational purposes (for example, sharing process clips or reference images in YouTube videos).

Your reference photos will never be sold or reproduced for resale.

🎟Optional Discount Code

If you’d like, you’re welcome to receive a 50% discount code to share with your followers so they can order their own custom portrait.

Sharing a code is completely optional and always up to you.

💛Sharing Your Portrait

If you love your finished portrait and feel inspired to share it with your audience, that truly means the world to me.

Sharing might look like:

  • A post, story, reel, or video

  • A side-by-side of your pet and the finished portrait

  • A mention to your followers or subscribers

Above all, I just ask that anything you share reflects your honest experience and the care that goes into each piece.

This partnership is meant to feel creative, positive, and easy.

If plans change on either side, that’s okay — there’s no pressure or hard feelings. I keep things flexible so the experience stays enjoyable and sustainable, and you’re always welcome to step away at any time as well.
