Terms & Guidelines

Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here. This page explains how the Aquila Watercolor Partner Program works and how we can collaborate to share beautiful custom pet portraits with your community.

Complimentary Partner Portrait

As part of the Aquila Watercolor Partner Program, partners are eligible to receive one (1) complimentary custom watercolor pet portrait, provided there is good-faith participation in the program.

  • The complimentary portrait is limited to one subject (one pet).

  • The inclusion of props, accessories, or complex backgrounds is at the artist’s discretion.

Artwork Ownership & Usage Rights

All original artwork created by Aquila Watercolor remains the intellectual property of Aquila Watercolor.

Aquila Watercolor retains the right to:

  • Create reproductions of the artwork for resale

  • Use images and video of the artwork for marketing, promotional, and instructional purposes, including YouTube videos, social media, website content, and educational materials

Partners and clients may display and share the artwork on personal platforms — including for partner promotion — provided the artwork itself is not reproduced, licensed, or resold independently of Aquila Watercolor.

Artwork reproductions made by the client using provided digital files or by any other means are for personal use only and may not be resold, licensed, or used for independent commercial purposes without written permission.

Reference Photos

By submitting reference photo(s), you grant Aquila Watercolor permission to use those images for marketing and instructional purposes, including sharing reference photos within YouTube instructional videos.

Reference photos will never be sold or reproduced for resale.

Discount Code Policy

Each partner can choose to receive and share a unique 50% discount code to with their followers.

This code should only be shared with your own community — not in coupon directories, paid ads, or discount sites.

Please do not use your own code to place personal orders.

Affiliate Responsibilities

Partners are expected to share their finished portrait and unique code (if they choose) with their audience within 30 days of receiving their portrait, unless otherwise agreed.

As a partner, you agree that if you are satisfied with your experience working with Jess and with the final artwork, you will create and share content featuring your custom pet portrait. Satisfaction is subjective, and this expectation is based on good-faith participation.

This may include:

  • Posts, stories, reels, or videos on your social platforms

  • Mentions or features shared with your email subscribers

Please represent my artwork and offers honestly and accurately. My portraits are handcrafted and made with care, and I want that to shine through in how you share.

Termination

This program is meant to be collaborative and fun. That said, I reserve the right to remove partners from the program at my discretion — including if terms are violated or if there’s no activity after receiving a complimentary portrait.

Partners may also leave the program at any time by reaching out.
